Rainy Day

April 2nd, 2004

Walking in the rain,

towards the waterfall.

Nothing's been the same,

nothing at all.

You told me we'd never be apart,

because we were one.

Then you broke my heart,

and now I'm crying with no Sun.

I thought you loved me,

I thought you cared.

Now I see...

that you lied and were never fair.

*Totally depressing, but it happens every day.*

YOU (POETRY)

You April 2nd, 2004 Waling through a field of gold. Thinking about you. Should've done what my instincts told, now I don't know what to do. To me, silver & gold he gave - but I wanted more. I didn't want anything save that you'd walk back through the door.

she turns up the radio even though it's just the weather. sleeps with maracas under her pillow... and says things like "it won't matter." she cuts her own hair without a mirror and leaves the house with no eyeliner on. people say she lacks structure. but she's really just having fun... she sings in the grocery aisle regardless of the strangers in the store. givers everyone a smile; they don't understand. what she's dancing for. she walks in the rain, watching the lightning play. people thinks she's insane, so they stay out of her way. barefoot in the snow, she keeps on walking... with everything she knows, she don't care about all their talkin'. outcast from an early age, she has lots to resent... but she just turns the page... yeah, she dares to be different. in recent memory, no one can recall another like her. it's hard to believe, but this is about who I see in the mirror. My Heart (March 31st, 2004)

" My Heart" by Alanda McRae. Life is a party, that's what they tell me. Life is a dance way, they said yesterday. I hear the owls speaking; I hear their forever question...
