006: Call of the Wild

It's just a thought 
Merely passin' through my mind. 
But I'll give it a shot, 
I'll let you see me shine.... 
I got a spotlight - just for me.
It's outside - shining so brightly... 
Comes out every morning... 
Lights up the sky... 
Yeah the sun is shining like a spotlight just for me.... 
Sets my soul a-soarin' free. 
When it's stormin' outside, it's like strobe lights. 
Strobe lightning on a dance floor 
Happens every night 
and it leaves me beggin' for more. 
When day & night collide 
with drummin' in the background, 
Fills me up pride. 
Makes me feel bona fide. 
Can't get me down with all this around. 
Energy. brilliance. oh so bright. 
Echoes. acoustics. fills up the night. 
It breathes, it breeds, it shines, it sings. 
It astounds & does everything. 
Yeah, you gotta love all these sounds... (x2)

005: Regardless

 she turns up the radio even though it's just the weather. sleeps with maracas under her pillow... and says things like "it won't matter." she cuts her own hair without a mirror and leaves the house with no eyeliner on. people say she lacks structure. but she's really just having fun... she sings in the grocery aisle regardless of the strangers in the store. givers everyone a smile; they don't understand. what she's dancing for. she walks in the rain, watching the lightning play. people thinks she's insane, so they stay out of her way. barefoot in the snow, she keeps on walking... with everything she knows, she don't care about all their talkin'. outcast from an early age, she has lots to resent... but she just turns the page... yeah, she dares to be different. in recent memory, no one can recall another like her. it's hard to believe, but this is about who I see in the mirror.
