004: Bonus Track

 Hurricane in my soul.

Rainbows gone dark.

Feeling like a fool

because I have a broken heart.

Chaos and pain overwhelm

make me feel crazy.

Take the helm

and don't rephrase me.

Hear my voice, my words

for what they truly are.

Don't belittle my choices, I need to be heard.

Stop painting over my scars.

Energy and inertia battle out

'til I don't know when I'll win it.

Unsure what's about

my broken soul.

Breathe in, relax...

Breathe out...

Focus. Focus. Focus...

I still don't know what to say when I think about the waves. Bridge: At the end of every rainbow, somewhere there's a pot of gold. And it will show, if you do as your instincts have told. My Heart (March 31st, 2004)

"  My Heart" by Alanda McRae. Life is a party, that's what they tell me. Life is a dance way, they said yesterday. I hear the owls speaking; I hear their forever question... I hear the blue jays singing, and I know life will go on. Will I ever see you again? Will I be in your arms? No matter where they take you, or where you've been, you'll forever be in my heart... I hope to see you once more, I wish I could say goodbye. As you walked out the door, I couldn't help but cry...
